Naming rights for new building

The Littlestown Area School District school board has granted the Thunderbolt Foundation the opportunity to provide naming rights within the new school. All naming right gifts will benefit the students of the Littlestown Area School District by supporting an unrestricted endowment fund created by the Thunderbolt Foundation and held at the Adams County Community Foundation. All donors will be recognized with a professionally designed sign i.e. “The Class of 1962 Auditorium”  in the room they selected.  Signage will be consistent throughout the building (color, font, and logo) and will be reflective of the atmosphere of the LASD. SUPPORTING academics

The FBLA was excited to learn that they had won a Lightening Grant! The PA FBLA State Leadership Conference is one of the best in the country and it’s where our members learn about leadership, professionalism, careers and most importantly, compete against other members from across our state in various business and presentation events for a chance to attend the National Leadership Conference. The grant will be used to lower the cost for the 34 members who will be attending the conference in April.

supporting the community

The Thunderbolt Foundation supports all students through various initiatives including the care closets in the middle and high school, holiday drives, community events, and financial support to Ruth’s Harvest.

providing sports grants

The Thunderbolt Foundation was able to support high school and junior high school field hockey athletes through grants that provided clinics to each. The high school field hockey athletes received the funds to participate in the Mackenzie Allessie Clinic and the junior high athletes participated in a summer league.

Testimonials

“The goalkeeper training was very valuable to both our varsity and JV goalkeepers. They used what they learned at the training in their own training sessions throughout the season. We are grateful they were afforded this opportunity since our coaching expertise at Littlestown is not in goalkeeping.”

Soccer Coach

“The Mackenzie Allessie Clinics are a great opportunity for the team. Getting to spend one on one time with a D1 player helps gain confidence and grow abilities. Thank you to the grants offered this year, I was able to participate in both days, which would have not been possible had my Mom not had that extra financial help.”
