WHO WE ARE
The Thunderbolt Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community based organization that financially enhances the goals of the Littlestown Area School District by supporting initiatives that benefit students. We focus on three primary areas: academic innovation, support programs for students, and athletics.
OUR HISTORY
The Thunderbolt Foundation was founded in 2016 and is an independent charity to improve the future of public education of the Littlestown Area School District. We are a charitable organization under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Section501(c)(3)
AS A NON-PROFIT, 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION, THE THUNDERBOLT FOUNDATION RELIES SOLELY ON THE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS OF INDIVIDUALS AND CORPORATIONS TO FUEL THE FOUNDATION’S MISSION.

Our mission is to empower students and educators in the Littlestown Area School District by providing access to quality educational resources, tools, and opportunities that support learning and development in both the classroom and extracurricular programs

Our vision is to contribute to a brighter future in which all students, educators, and schools have the resources needed for success. The Thunderbolt Foundation (TF) aims to foster a love of learning that extends both within and beyond the classroom. We seek to inspire students to become lifelong learners who are curious, creative, and critical thinkers. The TF believes that a passion for learning and self-improvement is the key to unlocking a brighter future for individuals and society as a whole.

our GOALS
The goal of the Thunderbolt Foundation is to work within the Littlestown Area School District to keep education current through support of innovative educational opportunities..
The TF will provide educational opportunities for classroom teachers, parents, administrators, and the community that will promote learning in LASD.
The TF will establish, maintain, and grow a permanent endowment to fund enhancements beyond the regular LASD budget.
